Sarrah's involvement included roles such as a Career Peer Educator for the UVA Career Center, Manager for Cavalier Connect (the only student-led fundraising organization on Grounds), Aetna Insurance Support Fund Director for Student Council, DEI Director for Forge, and a TEDx Speaker.

In their final semester, Sarrah and Manish took the initiative to create UVA’s first community dedicated to supporting and empowering First-Generation and/or Limited Income students interested in business-One Generation Network. Recognizing the potential impact of their vision, they invited Jack Banbury (Com ’78) and his wife Mary Beth, a first-generation graduate, to join their team.
