Once you accept a job offer, you’ll be placed into one of your top residence hall preferences. They do their best to keep roommates together! If you accepted a job but are no longer interested in working, you can withdraw from the job.

Wisconsin Union

The Wisconsin Union, particularly the Memorial Union Terrace, offers a vibrant and engaging work environment. The Wisconsin Union is gearing up for “Terrace season” and need new faces. University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries

Anyone who is 16 years of age and enrolled for academic credit at an educational institution may apply for a student hourly position at the UW-Madison Libraries. You do not need to be a student at UW-Madison. If you are not attending UW-Madison, you will need to provide proof of enrollment each fall and spring semester (course schedule, tuition bill, letter from institution, etc. Most student jobs are available during Fall, Spring, and Summer Semesters. Previous library work is helpful but not necessary. Libraries are usually looking for skills in working with people, typing, foreign languages, computers, filing, or audio-visual equipment. You also should have flexible hours and good work habits.

Badger Volunteers

Looking for a volunteer opportunity? Badger Volunteers pairs teams of students with schools, nonprofits and other types of community organizations.
