Hanover College provides a wide array of academic opportunities. In addition to the liberal arts curriculum each student receives, Hanover offers more than 30 degree programs. Students can design their own major, start their own club or organization, and spend May Term immersed in a single course - often abroad. Hanover also offers two hybrid doctoral degrees in physical therapy and occupational therapy that draw diverse students from all over the country. Hanover has also opened a new location to serve graduate students when they are in person.

Preparing Students for Success

Hanover College emphasizes a determination to help students succeed on a personal and career level, and the college does everything it can to help round students out for their futures. The Hanover Career Center sponsors several major annual events including four career fairs, a grad school fair, and an alumni networking day, and hosts on-campus recruiting. It also arranges the City Semester internship programs in Philadelphia, Chicago, and Washington and runs a series of mock interviews, résumé critiques, and career workshops. Nearly 100% of Hanover graduates were employed or continuing their education within 7 months of graduation.

A Vibrant Campus Community

Hanover is home to a "small, pretty laid back and surprising[ly] interesting community." Individuals who enjoy the arts will be delighted to hear that both "the theater department and the improv group…never disappoint [and] the choir and band concerts [are] always very enjoyable [as well]." For those that are more athletically inclined, we're told that "when it's warm out, students go hiking, play wiffleball, or…sand volleyball." Many undergrads also gravitate to the Student Activities Center which offers "game tables, [a] theater room, televisions [and] study spots." And, in the evenings, "chances are some club always has something planned-be it a movie showing [or] a poetry night!" Hanover also has a relatively robust party scene.

Hanover is located on 650 acres overlooking the Ohio River. Most major airlines fly into Cincinnati (CVG), Indianapolis (IND) and Louisville (SDF) airports. Prospective students are encouraged to fly into Louisville International Airport.

From Indianapolis: Interstate 65 South to Highway 56, exit 29, in Scottsburg. Highway 56, east 19 miles to college entrance. Or Highway 31 south to Columbus to Highway 7. Highway 7 south to the junction of 7 and 62 in Madison. Highway 62 west four miles to the junction of 56-62. Highway 56-62 west one mile to college entrance.
From Louisville: Interstate 65 north from Indiana state line to Highway 56, exit 29, in Scottsburg. Highway 56 east 19 miles to the college entrance. Interstate 65 north to Highway 62, exit 1, in Jeffersonville. Highway 62 east 34 miles to junction of 56 and 62. Highway 56-62 four miles east to college entrance.
From Cincinnati: Interstate 71 south to Highway 227, exit 44, in Carrolton, Ky. Highway 227 north three miles to Highway 36. Highway 36 west 13 miles to intersection with highway 421. Highway 421 North across the Madison-Milton Bridge to Indiana. Left on Second Street one block to Baltimore Street. Right on Baltimore Street one block to Main Street (Highway 56).
