Baseball Operations Intern
The Chicago White Sox are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join their Baseball Operations team for the 2025 season. In this role, the intern will assist with day-to-day operations across the front office, gaining exposure to various Baseball Operation departments including Major League Strategy, Major League Operations, and Research & Development. This internship, running from February to October, offers a comprehensive overview of the baseball operations landscape.
Player Development Affiliate Interns
The Chicago White Sox are seeking multiple seasonal Player Development Affiliate Interns. This entry-level opportunity will provide individuals with a wide range of experiences across professional baseball. These positions will report to the Minor League Video Coordinator, while supporting Minor League coaching staffs at affiliate locations throughout the season. There will also be opportunities to work on various baseball operations projects depending on skillset. The internship is an hourly, non-exempt position. Furnished housing or a housing stipend will be provided. The position will take place at one of our 5 affiliate locations: Charlotte (AAA), Birmingham (AA), Winston-Salem (A+), Kannapolis (A), or Glendale (RK). All positions will start during Minor League Spring Training and end upon the conclusion of the Minor League season with the potential of extending into Instructional League. Candidates must be fully available for the duration of the internship (February 10th - September 30). Hours for this position may vary week to week; candidates must be available and prepared to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Directly support players and coaching staff with all day-to-day video and information needs
- Film and chart each game and any early work requests
- Compile advanced scouting reports to be utilized prior to each series
- Manage the setup, operation and data management of all baseball technology
- Travel with the team on all road trips
- Aid in the execution of players development plans
- Complete independent projects as assigned by scouting/analytics/player development/front office staffs
Qualifications:
- Strong communication, organization skills, and eagerness to learn
- Strong knowledge pertaining to information technology including proficiency with all Microsoft Office software
- Knowledge of baseball technologies such as Hawkeye, Motion Capture, TrackMan, Edgertronic Cameras, Blast Motion, etc. is strongly encouraged
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Additional Skills:
- Prior coaching/playing experience
- Advanced understanding of hitting/pitching biomechanics
- Ability to speak conversational Spanish a plus
- Video editing skills
- Prior baseball/performance related research. Use of SQL/R/Python languages.

Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coach
The Chicago White Sox are hiring a Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coach. This is a full-time position that will be assigned to our Low A affiliate in Kannapolis, North Carolina. The coach will immediately report to Glendale, Arizona to learn our program, assist in all camps, and spring training. Communicate plans, goals, and progress with players and staff members at specific times of the year.
Assistant Performance Coach
The role of the Assistant Performance Coach is to aid the in-season sports performance staff at the Chicago White Sox and minor league affiliates. This support will be in a multitude of areas, based on the candidate’s skill set, and their projected career development pathway within professional baseball.
Sales Internships
For individuals interested in the business side of baseball, the White Sox offer sales internships focused on driving ticket sales and building relationships with fans. These roles provide valuable experience in sales techniques, customer service, and marketing strategies.
Sales Associate
The Chicago White Sox are seeking candidates to fill their January 2026 Sales Associate class. This 12-month program will give you an opportunity to sell a full menu of their ticket options, including season, group, and premium tickets. Their comprehensive training program runs the full length of the program, helping you develop the necessary skills to become a successful sales professional. This exciting opportunity will give you a chance to sell using multiple techniques, including via the phone, by scheduling in person appointments, at in-game sales tables, by attending networking events and through self-prospecting. Ongoing support is provided via their ticket sales leadership team.

A Chicago White Sox Sales Intern is responsible for selling new season and “small group” (20-500 tickets) ticket packages and party areas. Goals and responsibilities are assigned each year with the intended purpose of driving ticket sales in all areas of concentration.
Responsibilities Summary:
- In order to prospect and qualify and sell these tickets, sales representatives are expected to make a minimum of 40 new outgoing sales calls daily.
- Servicing the customers accounts
- Some fielding of incoming calls
- Day of Game duty is required
- Responsible for assisting in the sales of all large groups (500 or more tickets).
- May be responsible for following up with sales phone calls to prospective grand slam groups or fundraising groups.
- Servicing of large groups
- Assist in taking individual orders over the phone for all coupon nights and radio promotions.
- Coordinate group leader incentive program
- Manage inventory of diamond suites and pre-game patio party areas
- Facilitate all season ticket holder correspondence and/or special offers
- Oversee traffic flow of all paperwork for season tickets, group tickets, diamond suites and pre-game patio parties
- Organize and facilitate the White Sox Student Achiever Program and any other ticket coupon promotions
- Support the sales team by assisting in the development of easy to fulfill promotions and special offers
- Develop and implement control processes for supporting sales of party areas
- Special projects as assigned by Manager of Ticket Sales and Ticket Sales Administrators.
