Graduating from Wright State University marks the beginning of a new chapter, but it also grants you access to a valuable network and a range of benefits through the Wright State Alumni Association. As a result of graduating from Wright State, all alumni are members of the Association. All alumni are members and receive affinity opportunities and benefits.
Membership Options: Tailoring Your Involvement
The Wright State Alumni Association offers different levels of engagement to suit diverse interests and levels of commitment.
Individual Membership
If you are a Wright State Alumni, the Individual Membership is for you. This membership is designed for Wright State graduates who wish to stay connected, build relationships, and contribute to the alumni community. You'll have exclusive invites to events, foster friendships, and connect with others like you. Individual Members are eligible to serve on our Executive Leadership Team and vote during leadership elections. There is NO COST to be a member.
Champion Membership
The Champion Membership is available for those who want to support VMAS but are not Wright State Alumni. This option allows individuals who are not Wright State alumni to support the Veteran and Military Alumni Society (VMAS). Join in our fundraising events and foster friendships. Champion members can serve on one of our committees or as a Committee Chair.
Gold Membership
Alumni who make a tax-deductible donation of $50 or more cumulatively in a fiscal year (July 1-June 30) to any of the hundreds of Wright State University funds are eligible for Gold membership. Gifts can be spread across several funds to reach a minimum donation.

Life Membership
For life members who joined prior to the model conversion, much remains the same. You are Gold for life. The opportunity to purchase life membership was discontinued in August 2014.
VMAS Mission Support
VMAS Mission Support exists to recognize fellow alumni groups, businesses, non-profits, and other organizations that provide exemplary assistance to VMAS in achieving its mission and vision. Wright State license plates are only available in the state of Ohio and support Wright State scholarships. The charge is only $35 per year in addition to your annual registration costs.

In 2014, the Wright State Alumni Association membership model shifted from a dues-paying model to a non-dues paying model.

The Wright State University Alumni Association continually strives to provide all of our members with a wide variety of benefits in areas such as athletics, arts, entertainment and education. Our member benefits are always expanding and are subject to change.
Credit Card Information
We recommend that you review your account statement carefully each month to detect any suspicious account activity. No - as a member of Wright-Patt Credit Union, you are covered under Visa's Zero Liability Policy for fraudulent charges on your credit and debit cards. If your payment is more than 5 days late, a $20 Late Payment Fee will be assessed. We will not charge you interest on purchases if you pay the entire balance owed each month within 27 days of the statement closing date. Yes, a business is eligible to have WPCU loan or deposit account, as long as they meet the eligibility requirements for membership. You can use your employer identification number (EIN) to apply for a WPCU business credit card.
