Voices of Gratitude
“As I reflect on my college journey and the challenges I've faced as a first-generation student from a lower-income family, I can't help but feel grateful for the support I've received from FSF along the way. “I can't help but feel grateful for the support from FSF I've received along the way. “Interacting with the leaders and professionals who inspired me to pursue this path reassures me that my passion, hard work, and patience will continue to establish my path forward. “I hope that I am communicating that there is room in fashion for all of us. “Throughout my career and education, I’ve been fortunate to have had mentors that have helped me throughout my journey. Those relationships are why I am so honored to be on the FSF Board. “Sometimes the right people don’t get an opportunity for scholarship programs. I hope that I can give some kids a shot, where people wouldn’t give me a shot. I have found success in everything that I do.
