Amadeus Learning Universe: A Comprehensive Overview
The Amadeus Learning Universe (ALU) provides a comprehensive training ecosystem designed to empower travel professionals and hotel staff with the knowledge and skills needed to maximize their use of Amadeus solutions. This ecosystem employs a blended learning approach, combining self-paced educational offerings with instructor-led training options, all accessible through the Amadeus Learning Universe LMS. The ALU is designed to accommodate diverse learning styles and schedules, ensuring that users can effectively master product functionality and meet their business goals.
Blended Learning Approach
Amadeus training follows a blended approach that leverages a variety of self-paced educational offerings and is supported by online help available within the product. Amadeus’ self-paced education consists of webinars (live and recorded) and digital learning (e-learning, videos, and interactive simulations) laid out in learning pathways specific to each User’s role. Through the learning pathway, a User can complete a training module in the way that best meets that User’s needs. The User may choose from any of the self-paced education options available for the applicable Subscription Service.
The self-paced educational offerings available for each applicable Subscription Service. Access to the educational content is available via the Amadeus Learning Universe LMS. Other training options (e.g., train-the-trainer offerings) may be available for certain Subscription Service at additional cost.
Self-Paced Education
Amadeus' self-paced education resources include:
- Webinars: Both live and recorded webinars provide users with up-to-date information and expert insights on various Amadeus products and features.
- Digital Learning: This encompasses a range of e-learning modules, videos, and interactive simulations designed to cater to different learning preferences.
- Learning Pathways: These structured pathways guide users through specific topics, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of relevant functionalities.
Instructor-Led Training
The following types of live, instructor-led training may be provided at additional cost upon Customer’s request and subject to availability for the applicable Subscription Service. Upon Customer’s request for additional or customized training content, Amadeus will provide a quote and the Parties will mutually agree upon the scope and cost of such training content and any related travel in the Service Order or a Change Order, as applicable.

These sessions are fully related with the agenda and what topics will be covered. Not the same a course like reservations or just speak about fares and pricing. Calendar is filled according to needs and tends to have a basic knowledge or intermediate knowledge about a topic.
Accessing the Learning Universe
Everything about Learning you can click on top Learning and go to Learning Universe. On the homepage of the Learning tab, we included a navigational video to help you get started.
Course Content and Structure
Learning Path: several courses can vary the duration depending on which topic. For example, not the same when doing a PNR and explaining the mandatory fields (5) and then the optional ones such as OSI and SSR. Lessons: It can vary from 3 or 5 minutes until an hour in average.
Amadeus offers a variety of innovative courses in multiple languages to accommodate the different learning styles and schedules of our customers. These sessions are available 24/7 and may be taken at your own pace. They are interactive and include product information, apply-your-knowledge exercises, and process simulations.
Each course begins with clear objectives that are measured during the sessions using polling questions to confirm participants are tracking content with the instructor. Participants can ask questions during Q&A time or via online chat.

Examples of Available Training
While the specific training offerings vary depending on the Amadeus product, here are some examples of the types of training available:
- Provides an overview of basic functionality and navigation, as well as a detailed look at each module tab of RevenueStrategy360 Essentials.
- Teaches the User how to navigate through GMS.
- Teaches the User, in accordance with their role assigned by the Customer Property administrator, how to create, manage and process room assignments and service orders.
- Travel and Tourism Fundamentals Learning Path: Developed for new travel agents, this course offers a thorough explanation of commonly used language.
- Ticketing in Amadeus: Learn how to manage ticket issuance.
- Amadeus Light Ticketing: As a ticketing agent, you learn how to book a flight from a light-ticketing.

Training Policy and Amendments
This “Training Policy” sets forth the available training content for the applicable Subscription Service listed herein. Capitalized terms used herein but not defined will have the meaning assigned to them in the governing agreement between Amadeus and Customer (“Agreement”). Amadeus reserves the right to amend, alter, or modify the Training Policy at any time.
