Program Details
The Ameriprise Financial internship program is an 11-week summer program designed to provide experience in a collaborative and inclusive environment. Interns gain exposure to leaders, cultivate their business intuition, work on projects that directly impact the business, and network in a welcoming atmosphere. Interns also have access to Business Resource Networks, including the Black Employee Network, Young Professionals Network, and PRIDE Network.
Required Qualifications
- Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor's degree
- Interest in pursuing a career in the financial service industry
- Graduation date of December 2022 or May/June 2023
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Demonstrated leadership experience

Columbia Threadneedle Investments Internship Program
The Columbia Threadneedle Investments Internship program offers first-hand investment management experience. Interns support portfolio management and investment research, contributing directly to the investment process. They work with experienced portfolio managers and/or analysts who provide mentorship and opportunities for shadowing.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a collaborative team of experienced portfolio managers and research analysts to support the management of an equity portfolio focused on small‑ and mid‑cap companies.
- Participate in 2-3 week rotational projects, gaining exposure to different aspects of the investment process.
