Registration Information and Parent Self Serve

AISD strives to make the registration process quick and easy for parents. The Parent Self Serve (PSS) system allows parents to manage student information, complete online registration forms, and access important updates.

Registration for New Students

To register a child who is new to Arlington ISD, parents should follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Arlington ISD website and navigate to the registration section.
  2. Create a Parent Self Serve account or log in to an existing account.
  3. Choose “Add a Student” in the drop-down list.
  4. Complete the online registration forms, providing accurate information as listed on the certified birth certificate, including proper spelling, capitalization, spacing, and punctuation.
  5. After completing step 11 in the online registration system and pressing the “Complete Online Forms" button, the parent should see an “Online Enrollment Confirmation” on the screen that includes a confirmation number and the recommended option to print the page.

Situations Requiring In-Person Campus Visit

In some cases, parents will need to visit the student’s campus prior to the first day of school to complete registration. This is required if:

  • You have moved and your student is attending a new school this year.
  • Your student is new to Arlington ISD.
  • There is a custody/parent/guardian change for your student.
  • Your student is under the age of 12 and new to Arlington ISD.
  • Your student is coming back to Arlington ISD from another school district/system for this school year.

Addressing Common Issues

  • Recovering Username: If you need to recover your Parent Self Serve username, ensure that all spelling, capitalization, spacing, and punctuation are correct.
  • Incorrect School Displayed: The school displayed is based on the address provided in the system. If the address is incorrect, contact your child’s school to update it. If you have an approved transfer or letter of acceptance to an academy, contact the new school to update the information in the system.
  • School Not Available: Transfers are only available during the open transfer windows. Dates of the transfer windows are posted at aisd.net/transfer.
  • Custody Changes: If there has been a change to the parent/guardian on your account due to custody, contact the school to update the information in the system.
