Understanding Bethany Christian School Tuition and Enrollment

Investing in education is a significant decision, and understanding the financial aspects is crucial for families considering Bethany Christian School (BCS). This article provides a comprehensive overview of tuition, enrollment procedures, financial aid options, and related policies at Bethany Christian School.

Admissions and Enrollment at Bethany Christian School

BCA admissions are based on an application and family interview process. Students may be required to take an assessment test. The school accepts applications throughout the school year based upon openings within the classes. Re-enrollment of current students and new applications takes place in early spring of each year for the following school year. To begin the process, an Application for Admission can be reviewed and completed, along with reading the Statement of Faith. The Student and Parent Handbooks are also available for review.

Parental involvement is essential to the success of BCA. Parents are expected to actively attend and participate in the life of a Christian Church, agree with the school’s statement of faith, and acknowledge a relationship with Jesus Christ.

If you are interested in setting up an interview please complete our contact form or call the school at (508) 634-8171 and speak with us. Tuition and Payment Schedule

While the primary responsibility for financing a student’s education rests with his or her family, BCA uses its own resources to supplement family contributions. Bethany Christian School partners with FACTS Tuition Management for all tuition payments and processing.

Tuition is paid over 12 months, with the first payment due on June 1 and the last payment due on May 1. All families wishing to pay in monthly installments must register with FACTS. There is a set-up fee of $50 per family (fee is subject to change). Several payment options are available.

Tuition Contract

All families enrolling students at BCS are required to sign a tuition contract. This contract is a legal, binding agreement between BCS and the family. Student enrollment is not complete until the tuition contract is signed and the Enrollment Fee paid.

Enrollment Fee

The enrollment fee and all paperwork are due at the time of enrollment. The enrollment fee is non-refundable.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Bethany accepts "Step Up For Students" scholarships.

Important Policies Regarding Tuition

  • Returned Checks: Tuition payments and fees are subject to a $30.00 returned check charge.
  • Delinquency of Payments: If tuition becomes 30 days delinquent, a student will be asked to withdraw from BCS until all accounts are brought up to date. If accounts are not brought up to date, BCS reserves the right to withhold all student records and deny admission to the student for the next school year. In hardship situations, arrangements may be made prior to delinquency penalization.
  • Unconditional Tuition Obligation: Parent understands that the enrollment obligation for the full academic year is unconditional and that no portion of the year’s tuition or fees so paid or outstanding will be refunded or cancelled in the event of absence, withdrawal, or dismissal of this student from the School.

Force Majeure

The School’s duties and obligations under the Tuition Agreement Form shall be suspended immediately without notice during all periods that the School is closed because of force majeure events including, but not limited to, any fire, act of God, weather disaster, war, governmental action, act of terrorism, epidemic, pandemic or any other event beyond the School’s control. If such an event occurs, the School’s duties and obligations in this Agreement will be postponed until such time as the School, in its sole discretion, may safely reopen.

Financial Obligation

BCS hires faculty, purchases supplies, and makes other financial commitments on an annual basis determined largely by the reliability of enrollment contracts. Upon a student withdrawing from BCS for any reason, tuition is due and payable through the end of that semester. A semester constitutes the first two quarters or last two quarters of the school year.

Late Enrollment

If a student applies for admission after June 1 and before the first day of the school year, all missed payments must be paid before the student is considered officially enrolled.
