Summer Games

The Summer Games is a project-based, intensive, ten-week internship program that simulates a real-world startup accelerator. A Summer Games intern collaborates on a team guided by senior leaders. For example, the Tiger Team from Huntsville won the 2025 Summer Games by building a low-cost drone autonomy attachment named ARCUS (Autonomous Retrofit to Combat Unmanned Systems).

Summer Hire

In contrast, a summer hire intern supports the wide-ranging needs of a specific team.

Both Summer Games interns and summer hire interns are paid. It may be possible to get academic credit for your internship, but Booz Allen can’t grant credit independently. While Booz Allen doesn’t give academic credit for an internship, they’ll review and validate any documentation from your university that might allow you to obtain credit for a Booz Allen internship.

Apply Knowledge to real world projects: Contribute to ongoing initiatives such as phishing campaigns, training curriculum development, and mandatory training deployments, and education and awareness communications.
Enhance communication and collaboration: Participate in team meetings, contribute to educational material, and assist in editing and drafting communications for targeted user groups.
Assist in content creation: Draft podcast episode topics, develop cyber news stories and tipper posts, and maintain an ongoing FAQ list for risk mitigation strategies geared toward high-risk groups.
