Program Structure and Timeline

The Summer 2021 Internship Program was fully virtual, with interns working remotely and available to work Eastern Time Zone hours, between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ET. The program lasted for 10 weeks, running from June 1st - August 6th. The application process has a rolling deadline, starting in February, encouraging early applications for greater consideration. Initial screening is conducted by recruiting team members via phone or video screen. Final interviews are conducted by hiring teams via phone or video interview starting late February into early March. Offers are extended beginning in March and may carry into April, if necessary.

Tech Design Intern

The Tech Design department owns technical packages from product development to pre-production SPL approval. Tech Designers execute proto-fit on a development stage and are responsible for proto-fit and fit comment for Showroom Samples and fit approvals. The Team works closely with design, supply, global merchandising supply as well as external vendors daily to support the best products execution for the brand.

North America Merchandising Intern

The Calvin Klein North America Merchandising internship focuses on the Men’s and Women’s Underwear businesses with exposure to multiple channels of distribution. This position supports all aspects of the Merchandising process including sku planning, assortment building, selling recaps, competitive analysis, systems support, line matrix, and selling tool maintenance. The Merchandising Intern works closely with the merchant team with exposure to Sales, Supply, Operations, and Global Merchandising teams. Responsibilities include: supporting the Assistant Merchandiser with systems and line list maintenance, compiling business updates and competitive analysis, and leading organization of sample library.
