The university usually updates the Course Directory on 4 September with information for admission in the following academic year. Entry requirements will vary between degrees, so it is essential that you check the details for the specific programme you are interested in.
Deadlines: There are two deadlines that you need to consider: the application deadline and the funding deadline. The application deadlines are usually in April, but it can be beneficial to apply earlier, as some Masters have rolling admissions. Cambridge does not follow the general UCAS applications deadline (which would be late January) - instead, you generally apply by mid-October the year before you enrol.

Core Admission Requirements

To be considered for a postgraduate program at Cambridge, applicants must generally satisfy the following requirements:

Academic Qualifications: Postgraduate applications require a relevant Bachelor’s degree. A minimum of a good upper second class (good 2:1) honors degree from a UK university or an equivalent standard from an overseas university is typically expected. Some courses will have higher entry requirements - a higher grade, a Master’s degree, or a background in a specific field - and this is at the discretion of the department.
English Language Proficiency: As one of the leading universities in the English-speaking world, Cambridge expects very good English of its applicants, higher than most other top universities. You will need to provide an English language certificate or have evidence of good school English, or a previous academic degree taught in English. For Bachelors, expect a minimum TOEFL score of 110 and a minimum IELTS score of 7.5. For Masters, some are open to applicants with a TOEFL score of 100 or an IELTS score of 7.0, others also require 110 or 7.5, respectively. Cambridge English certificates are (not very surprisingly) also accepted.
References: You will need two references to support your application, and you will need to submit your referees details via the Applicant Portal. Your referees will then receive an automated reference request.
Transcripts: When applying for studying Cambridge masters programs, you would be asked to upload copies of transcripts and certificates for each degree you have studied or are studying. For your initial application we simply need a full or provisional transcript uploaded in PDF form (under 2 MB). If you were to then receive an offer for the LLM, we would then set you academic conditions to verify your academic documents. If you are made an offer of admission, then you are expected to upload a certified copy to the Self-Service portal. They asked for a certificate or official transcript of my bachelor's degree, but I already provided the official document. So, I had a look at the booklet on "your offer and its conditions", and this also says that the transcript must include an explanation in English of the marking scheme used for the degree. I don't think many countries would ever make a transcript that compares their grades to UK grades. They simply refer to a transcript that explains the grading system in your country and perhaps information on the educational system (length of the programme, does this qualify you for any particular legal positions, what the grading scale is like, what do they mean, e.g. A = "an excellent performance + some text about it, B = "very good", plus more explanatory text, etc.). This will usually always be part of your transcript from most unis and tends to take up some 2-10 pages of text after the page with your grades on it. Double-check in your offer whether the condition is "outstanding" or not, cause they have this annoying habit of listing all possible conditions even when completed. If it is outstanding, look for either whether (1) your transcript lacks a signature/stamp on every page if it is a scanned version (for verification purposes); or (2) for a valid e-signature if the document is an electronic transcript. If after checking you still have no idea why it's outstanding, send them a ticket and wait some 5-10 days for their reply.
Completion of Training: Completion of, or intermission from, any current training or education course.
