Understanding Christ the King Preschool Tuition and Affordability
Choosing the right preschool for your child is a significant decision. For families considering Christ the King Preschool, understanding the tuition costs and available financial aid options is essential. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the tuition structure, available assistance programs, and the values that underpin the school's commitment to accessible education.
Tuition Details for Christ the King Preschool
The fees outlined below are specifically for the 2025-2026 school year. It's important to note that students enrolled solely in the preschool program are generally not considered for multi-student discounts that may be available for older children in the school.
Parishioner Status and Tuition
Welcome from Mrs. Parish families are those who are registered at Christ the King Parish at the time of school registration. The family has provided a copy of the students’ Baptismal Certificate at registration, and have contributed financial support to the Christ the King Parish.
The Value of Catholic Education and Funding
The cost to educate one child during the 2025-2026 school year is at least $12,000. Tuition only covers a portion of the expenses. To keep the cost of Catholic education affordable for families, multiple children from the same family pay a declining percentage of the one-child tuition rate. This means the tuition covered by the parish ranges from $1,320.00 to $14,322.00 depending on the number of students per family. This amount covered by the parish is paid through Sunday collections and donations.
Overcoming Financial Barriers: Tuition Assistance Programs
Christ the King School recognizes that the cost of tuition can be a significant factor for families. They emphasize that tuition costs should not prevent families from exploring whether Christ the King is the right fit for their child. To address this, they offer several avenues for tuition assistance.

Christ the King Tuition Assistance Program
The Tuition Assistance program is designed to provide financial support to families for whom a Christ the King education would otherwise be inaccessible. Families interested in learning more about this program should contact the Christ the King office directly.
Central Washington Catholic Foundation
Another avenue for tuition assistance is through the Central Washington Catholic Foundation. The Central Washington Catholic Foundation's Tuition Assistance Program Application is now open for families. It is now accepting applications from new families. The priority window for returning families is April 1 and for new families it is May 1. The application does require families to upload their W-2's and tax returns. The Central Washington Catholic Foundation will continue to award TAP until their funding is exhausted. Click here for more information. Catholic Foundation awards are given based on the highest need across the entire Diocese, not based on school.
FACTS Management: Tuition and Financial Aid Processing
Christ the King School utilizes FACTS Management for processing tuition payments, related fees (with the exception of cafeteria charges, which are managed through the RenWeb system), and financial aid applications. All new families are required to register with FACTS to create an account. Parishioners of the Cathedral of Christ the King seeking financial aid for their children attending Christ the King School must also apply through the FACTS portal.
Families can use the FACTS portal to:
- Register for a FACTS account
- Review their financial aid application and status
- Submit supporting documentation
- Access their existing account and review tuition payments
Non-Discriminatory Policy
