The CMI (Christian Camping Ministry Internship) offers a comprehensive two-year program with a focus on hands-on experience and discounted online schooling.

PLACEMENT & TRAININGAll CMI interns are placed at a Word of Life Camp. This camp will be where you’ll serve for your summer ministry, however, you will gain experience in a wide variety of areas of the Word of Life camping ministry throughout their 2 year internship.

Your two years as a CMI intern consist of training, support raising and service at a Word of Life Camp. You will be trained in-depth in counseling children and teens, recruiting and training staff, camps marketing, operations, programming, all aspects of meeting production, and you’ll gain indispensable experience in Christian Camping.

FINANCESWhile room and board is provided during the duration of the program, CMI interns are required to raise support to fund your program costs and stipend. You’ll receive training and resources on how to raise support, and we’ll be right here with you each step of the way!

EDUCATIONAll CMI interns are required to pursue a degree during their internship. We want to send you out prepared with both ministry experience and a college education!
