Academic Divisions and Program Offerings

The university comprises two colleges: the College of Undergraduate Studies and the College of Adult and Graduate Studies. CCU offers over 100 degree programs as well as licensure and certification programs. CCU offers more than 200 academic program options in a variety of disciplines for traditional and adult students through its College of Undergraduate Studies and College of Adult and Graduate Studies.

College of Undergraduate Studies

CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies offers more than 100 program options, including majors, minors, and emphases. The college of undergraduate studies offers 30 academic majors as well as 37 minors. Traditional undergraduate students attend classes at CCU's main campus in Lakewood, Colo. For over a decade, the traditional undergraduate programs at Colorado Christian University have been ranked in the top 2% of colleges nationwide by the American Council of Trustees and Alumni (ACTA) - one of only 24 institutions in the nation to earn an "A" rating for our core education program.

The College of Adult and Graduate Studies at CCU offers associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, doctoral degrees, and certificate programs specifically designed to meet the needs of adult learners. The college of adult and graduate studies offers undergraduate degree completion, educator licensing, and certificate programs for working professionals. CCU Online offers more than 100 degree program options to students and adult learners throughout the United States and even to distance learners abroad. Thousands of online students have earned degrees in associate, bachelor, and graduate programs without ever setting foot on campus. Since many adult students are interested in online degree programs, nearly all of our courses are offered 100% online. Over 90% of adult and graduate students take classes online through CCU Online.

Most courses are taught in five-week blocks and offered as 100% online classes, so you can take one at a time and make online school work around your schedule. All classes are taught from a Christian worldview.

Transfer Credits

If you have taken courses at another accredited college or university, you may be surprised to learn how quickly and seamlessly you can transfer college credits to earn your degree through CCU's College of Adult and Graduate Studies. Through CCU's dual degree program, the University provides accelerated options for students to complete both their bachelor’s degree and master’s degree. Athletics

CCU student athletes have the opportunity to compete at a high level while growing in faith, character, and leadership. CCU is a member of NCAA Division II and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). You can choose from competitive men’s and women’s teams in sports like basketball, soccer, track and field, cross country, golf, volleyball, softball, and baseball. Campus Development

Colorado Christian University is currently undergoing a major campus renovation of their Lakewood, Colorado location. The renovation is scheduled to take 7-9 years to complete at a cost of over $120 million. Leprino Hall was opened in Fall 2014. CCU opened a new residence hall to students in August 2015, named "Yetter Hall". On August 24, 2017, the Anschutz Student Center opened. Dedicated August 21, 2019, Rockmont Hall is the second new residence hall constructed as part of the university's campus redevelopment campaign. Fundraising is currently underway for the Armstrong Center.
