This council evaluates Board Policy, student affairs, enrollment management procedures, and guidelines. It also partners in student success strategies and enrollment strategies for the system.

SD-SARA: Expanding Access to Education
The South Dakota Board of Regents (SDBOR) serves as the State Portal Entity (SPE) for SD-SARA, administering SARA within the state. SARA establishes a state-level reciprocity process that supports the nation in increasing educational attainment by making state authorization more efficient, effective, and uniform. Participation in SARA is voluntary for both states and institutions. Institutions that participate in SARA are authorized in all states who are Members of SARA. Secretary of Education are eligible to participate in SARA.
