In addition to their academic credit hour tuition costs, flight students should budget between $20,000-$30,000 per academic year while they are actively flying. It is imperative that students have sufficient funds available to start and complete flight courses. Students who receive VA educational assistance for programs other than approved degree programs with a component of flight, may not take flight courses as electives or to fulfill other academic requirements.
Payment Options and Deadlines
Payment is due by the payment deadline in advance of the first day of classes. Students will receive a bill at the beginning of each semester for courses and mandatory fees. If you live on campus, then housing and meals will also be on your bill. You can use a credit card or electronic transfer (bank wire) to pay for tuition, fees, insurance, housing and meals each semester.
A $200 tuition deposit is required to reserve a place in the program. Students must arrange housing and meals before arriving.
After completing the training session, you may pay for your session online through the Education and Training Administration (ETA) system. You may pay with a credit card, debit card or with your Flight Account. The Flight Account is a prepaid deposit account where account funds are accessible to pay for flight activities only. On-Campus Living Expenses
All first-year students are required to live on campus for the first two academic years. Transfer students who are 21 years of age or older on or before September 1 of their year of entry to the University are not required to live on campus but may request to live on campus if space is available.
