  • Alaska Thunderfuck 5000: Also known as Justin Andrew Honard, is an American drag queen, singer, and internet personality. Alaska is best known as the runner-up on the fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race and the winner of the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. Before conceiving the concept and personality of her drag persona in Los Angeles, Alaska grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, and moved to Pittsburgh to study theater at the University of Pittsburgh.

  • Christina Aguilera: This American singer, celebrity, and actress, born in Canonsburg, PA, reached #1 on the Billboard Top 100.   • Art Blakey: Drummer and leader of the Jazz Messengers, a hard bop ensemble of the 1940s.

  • Perry Como: Born Pierino Como in Canonsburg, PA, was one of a family of 13 children. He worked as a barber and married his high school sweetheart, Roselle Beline. He landed a spot in the Freddie Carlone Orchestra and in 1937 joined the Ted Weems orchestra where he was featured on the band's Beat the Band radio program.

  • Adrian Cronauer: An American radio personality and United States Air Force Sergeant, whose experiences as an innovative disc jockey on American Forces Network during the Vietnam War inspired the 1987 film Good Morning, Vietnam starring Robin Williams as Cronauer.

  • Bill Cullen: An American radio and television personality whose career spanned five decades. Known for appearing on game shows and later as a prolific game show host, he hosted 23 shows, earning the nickname "Dean of Game Show Hosts."

  • Fred Rogers: Better known as Mister Rogers, was an American television host, author, producer, and Presbyterian minister. He was the creator, showrunner, and host of the preschool television series Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, which ran from 1968 to 2001.

  • Zelda Rubinstein: An American actress and human rights activist, known as eccentric medium Tangina Barrons in the Poltergeist film series.
