Campus life at FGCU includes spacious housing complexes, a convenient array of dining options, unparalleled recreation and wellness programs, and a resort-style pool and beach. FGCU has a high proportion of students living on campus, approximately 4,744.

The FGCU Office of Student Involvement has several areas for you to get involved at FGCU. We currently have over 250 Registered Student Organizations, 26 Fraternities & Sororities, and a wide variety of Programming Board events to help connect you with the university, make friends, gain leadership skills, and create opportunities that will complement your experience in the classroom.

Athletics
The Eagles won the Atlantic Sun Conference’s Bill Bibb Trophy in 2024-25, which goes to the member institution with the best overall athletic program. FGCU volleyball has won four consecutive Atlantic Sun Conference championships, equating to four-straight NCAA Tournament appearances. FGCU’s women’s soccer team won back-to-back ASUN Tournament championships in 2022 and 2023.
