Engineering Internships

Engineering Interns can expect exposure to either Hallmark's distribution and supply chain processes or its end-to-end consumer or customer business processes. Creative Summer Internships

Hallmark is home to talented character artists, sculptors, modeling artists, engineers, and illustrators. Creative Summer Internships provide opportunities to be involved in every step of the creative process, from idea to shelf. This includes brainstorming, concept sketching, character development, digital rendering/modeling, prototyping, product engineering, and creating final product solutions.

Specific Creative Internship Roles:

  • Illustration Intern: Create original illustrations for various 2D and 3D consumer product formats, leveraging consumer insights and visual trends. This includes creating original content for style guides & collections, ideating for product specific needs, and translating archival artwork into relevant new content. Visual Studios illustration is leveraged on a wide range of social expression products and platforms, including greeting cards, gift books, gift wrap and bags, 3D ornament & gift collections, digital solutions including all forms of marketing & promotional material, packaging, and more!

  • Graphic Design Intern (Global Visual Merchandising Studio): Develop Hallmark-branded merchandising solutions, including signage, wayfinding, and other in-store graphics, based on product, retailer, and consumer needs.

Social Media Internship

The Social Media Internship, located in Burbank, CA, is open to undergraduate and graduate students. Interns assist in developing and executing strategies across Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Plus, Hallmark Mystery, Hallmark Family and Hallmark events across all digital and social media platforms. The team also delivers social media campaigns to drive tune-in and raise awareness in support of programming and to expand Hallmark’s social media and digital footprints.

Chinquapin Trust Company Internship

Chinquapin Trust Company, a subsidiary of Hallmark, operates a private trust company that manages a sophisticated investment portfolio, financial reporting, tax compliance, and other services for its clients. This internship opportunity is hybrid, with potential for in-office time.

Internship Program Details

  • Duration: The internship program typically runs from late May through early August (approximately 12 weeks). The Chinquapin Trust Company internship occurs over the summer (typically April to September).
