Many businesses and services recognize the financial constraints students often face. As a result, they provide student discounts to make their offerings more accessible. This article explores student discount eligibility at HOTWORX and other establishments, providing a comprehensive overview of how students can save money on fitness, food, entertainment, and more.
HOTWORX Student Membership and Benefits
HOTWORX offers various membership options, including Sweat Basic and Sweat Elite memberships, each with unique features and benefits. Understanding the terms and conditions of these memberships is crucial for students looking to join.
Membership Agreement Overview
The HOTWORX membership agreement outlines the terms of service, including auto-renewal policies, cancellation procedures, and payment methods. It is essential to read the membership agreement carefully and in full to understand the conditions and restrictions on the use of membership services.
Key Membership Terms
Auto-Renewal: The membership agreement auto-renews on a month-to-month basis, and the member will continue to be charged the recurring membership dues until they cancel their membership.
Initial Term: The member's initial term will commence on the first day of the month following the effective date of the agreement. For the initial term, the member will be billed the rate of the membership dues on a month-to-month basis, processed on the first day of every month, unless the membership is canceled.

Presale Acknowledgment: Presale discounts are only available to eligible, first-time members of any HOTWORX studio. All presale discounts will be forfeited if a membership becomes delinquent and is terminated due to non-payment, if the membership is canceled by the Member, or membership is revoked for any reason.
Membership Types
Sweat Basic Membership: This membership provides 24/7 access to the facility, unlimited access to heated, virtual workouts via appointment booking, and mobile app access to features such as 24/7 appointment booking, calories burned tracking to earn rewards, and refer friends to earn rewards.
Sweat Elite Membership: This membership includes all the features of Sweat Basic, plus access to all studios in the United States and Canada. It also includes additional mobile application features, such as DietTrax Access, Virtual Personal Trainer, Intermittent Fasting Access, and HOTWORX on the Go Access.
Add-On Memberships
A primary member can add any immediate family member who lives in the same household as a family add-on member for an additional fifty percent of the primary member's membership dues, per individual, at any time. The only exception to the requirement that the family add-on member live in the same household is where the primary member is a parent who wishes to add their child that temporarily lives away at college as a family add-on member.
Reciprocal Studio Access
Active HOTWORX members can visit any HOTWORX studio, subject to certain conditions. Sweat Elite members may book sessions and access other HOTWORX Studios in the United States and Canada at no additional charge, with some exceptions. A reciprocation fee will apply if the visiting studio's monthly membership tier (rate) is higher than the monthly membership tier (rate) at the member's home studio. Sweat Basic members may use other HOTWORX studios only during staffed hours and must pay the visiting studio's standard drop-in fee.

Cancellation Policy
The auto-renew membership may be canceled at any time. If a member cancels their membership before the end of the initial term, they will be liable for a ninety-nine dollar early cancellation fee. After the initial term, members may cancel at any time, without any fee, in advance of the next billing cycle to avoid membership dues for that following month.
Rewards Program
