Unleash the Joy: A Complete Guide to College Football 25 Celebrations

College Football 25 is back, and it's bringing a brilliant personal touch to EA’s NCAA sim with its celebration mechanics. Using the right stick and a variety of modifiers, you can unleash unique animations in three different scenarios: after touchdowns, following first downs, and when you’ve just claimed a key interception. This guide provides a comprehensive breakdown of all available celebrations, ensuring you can properly toast every big play.

Touchdown Celebrations: Toasting Six-Point Plays

There are 21 potential College Football 25 touchdown celebrations for you to toast your latest six-point pass or end-zone-smashing run. From the iconic Griddy to Shedeur Sanders' watch flex, the options are plentiful to showcase your team's swagger.

Mastering the Griddy (Tiger Swag)

Just like Madden NFL 24, the Griddy has made it into College Football 25. Since popping off online back in 2019, the viral dance has turned into a global sensation. The celebration is a now mainstay in EA Sports games, and it pairs perfectly with the boisterous nature of college football.

To do the Griddy in College Football 25, hold the right stick up and press L2 on PlayStation or LT on Xbox after a touchdown. The celebration can be executed only after getting a touchdown, so you cannot hit the Griddy after grabbing an interception or making a first down.

The in-game name for the celebration is ‘Tiger Swag,’ which is a clever nod to Justin Jefferson’s alma mater, LSU. The receiver was among the first adopters of the celebration and played a major role in popularizing it. The celebration itself sees the player bend their knees and alternatingly tap their heels on the ground while swinging their arms back and forth. The former high school football player went on to sign an exclusive agreement with EA Sports which brought the Griddy to the developers’ games. This is also the reason why the celebration is yet to appear in NBA 2K.

I forget which interview it was in, but didn't Christian McLeod intimate some celebration controls could be hidden/easter eggs? I am surprised the team/school stuff isn't in there, but I also can't think they'd be hidden.
