Lane Community College seeks dedicated individuals for various positions, each playing a vital role in supporting the college's mission and student success. These positions include, but are not limited to:
Faculty Positions
Faculty are professional educators with the primary responsibility of providing a quality learning experience for all Lane Community College students. The relationship of the faculty member to the student is one of the teacher of record and facilitator of learning. Faculty positions encompass a wide range of disciplines, including:
- Medical Office Assisting and Health Records Technology: Providing high-quality instruction in courses such as Medical Terminology, Human Body Systems, Medical Insurance Procedures, and Clinical Assisting.
- Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry: Providing quality instruction in all delivery methods and formats within the Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Programs.
- Cell Biology and Anatomy & Physiology: Providing high-quality instruction that meets established learning aims and outcomes for students in 100-level Cell Biology and/or 200-level Anatomy & Physiology courses.
- Phlebotomy: Training and forming highly skilled Phlebotomist technicians by applying approved and effective techniques of student supervision, motivation, and classroom management; and appropriate curriculum and instructional materials for the assigned subject area.
- Mathematics: Providing high-quality instruction that meets established learning aims and outcomes for students in Mathematics courses.
- Human Services: Teaching a variety of Human Services courses as assigned, participating in division and other professional activities, and teaching in a learning environment that puts students first.
- Fitness and Lifestyle Specialist Program: Providing high-quality, student-centered, innovative instruction to a diverse student population.
- Dental Assisting Program: Providing a quality learning experience for all Lane Community College Dental Assisting program students.
- Massage Therapy: Training and forming highly qualified and professional massage therapists by sharing their experience, expertise, industry knowledge, and passion for the job.
- Automotive Technology: Providing high quality instruction to students taking Automotive Technology courses to assist students enter or transition into the workforce.
- Music: Contributing to a comprehensive music program that includes Music Technology, Music Theory, Sight Reading/Ear Training, Keyboard Skills, Ensemble Conducting (Choral/Instrumental) and Music History classes and individual lessons.
- Construction Technology: Contributing to student academic success and completion by assisting students in their study of Construction Technology. Assisting students to become successful and independent learners by using industry-current tooling, materials, and methods.
- Fabrication/Welding Technology: Contributing to student academic success and completion by assisting students in their study of Fabrication/Welding Technology.
- CNC/Manufacturing Technology: Contributing to student academic success and completion by assisting students in their study of CNC/Manufacturing Technology.
TRiO Tutors
The TRiO tutors support individual student learning, understanding, and application of writing, math, social and hard sciences, business, and general study disciplines. To support student success in areas such as navigation of Lane web systems, i.e. Moodle or myLane, class course work, web study aides, and college resources.
Administrative Medical Office Assistant
The Administrative Medical Office Assistant provides essential front-line support for the Student Health and Wellness Center which provides both health services and counseling services to Lane students. The position serves as the initial point of contact for patients, students, and the public.

Security Officers
Officers patrol the Lane campus and provide immediate response to threats, emergencies, and dangerous situations.
Financial Activities Support
This position supports operational efficiency and security for the College’s financial activities & assets, serving a variety of College departments.
