LULAC offers various scholarship opportunities through the LULAC National Educational Service Centers (LNESC), each with unique eligibility criteria and award amounts.

Each scholarship has its own deadline, application procedure, and requirements. While the specific scholarships available may vary, here are a few notable examples:

Eligibility Requirements: Who Can Apply?

Eligibility requirements vary by scholarship program. While specific criteria may differ depending on the scholarship, some general requirements often apply:

Hispanic Heritage: At least one parent must be of Hispanic ancestry.
Enrollment Status: Applicants must have applied to or be enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university, including 2-year colleges, or vocational schools that lead to an associate’s degree. Graduate students must have applied to or be enrolled as a part time graduate student in a college or university.
LULAC Council Participation: To be considered for the scholarship, there must be a participating LULAC Council in your area.
DACA Status: Students who have been granted DACA are eligible to apply. For undocumented students who came to the United States before November 1, 2019, and have continuously lived in the United States since then or have DACA or TPS who live in locked-out states (including Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Maine, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and others). Their mission is to create a platform for the undocumented communities to highlight their experiences from students as they transition to professionals.
SAT/ACT Scores: Entering college freshman must submit SAT/ACT scores.

Restrictions

Relatives of scholarship committee members, the Council President or an individual contributor to the local funds of the Council are not eligible to apply.

Each scholarship has its own deadline, application procedure, and requirements. The LNSF application is currently open. Applications must be submitted online to a local participating LULAC Council. The LULAC National Scholarship Fund Agreement & Guidelines are available to LULAC Councils in good standing with the LULAC Membership Office.
