Housing Credit
If you are offered a Housing Credit, it is a supplemental, non-renewable (one-year) financial aid award intended to help reduce the cost of on-campus housing during your first year of enrollment. The credit is applied directly to your university housing account and reduces charges for residence hall housing and eligible meal plan expenses. Eligibility is determined based on admission status, scholarship consideration, and financial aid application materials. Because funding is limited and awarded competitively, not all students will receive this award, and amounts may vary based on residency, enrollment, housing assignment, or overall financial aid eligibility. To receive the credit, offered students must sign a University Housing residence hall contract and enroll in a University Housing meal plan. The Housing Credit cannot be applied to fraternity or sorority (Greek) housing.
