Understanding Football Ticket Options

The LSU Athletics Ticket Office is located in the LSU Athletic Administration Building, at the corner of Nicholson Drive and North Stadium Drive, in the west parking lot of Tiger Stadium (Lot 101). Several options are available for alumni looking to purchase football tickets:

Season Tickets

  • Tradition Fund Contribution: Approximately 45,000 football season tickets require a contribution to LSU’s Tradition Fund for the right to purchase them.
  • Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) Contributions: A limited number of season tickets require TAF contributions. TAF also offers premium seating options in the Stadium Club and the Tiger Den Suites.
  • Renewal Process: Season ticket renewals are available each January and are typically due by March 1. Contact the ticket office at (225) 578-2184 if you haven't received a renewal form by mid-February.
  • Season Ticket Request List: Any unsold season tickets will go on sale to the public in January. You can register for the season ticket request list from December through February. Any season tickets that are not renewed will be reassigned to fans on this list.
  • Ticket Limits: Season ticket and parking holders are limited in the number of tickets they can acquire in certain areas of Tiger Stadium.

Away Game Tickets

  • Application Process: Season ticket holders and active Team TAF/Oaks Donors can apply for away game tickets each spring.
  • Application Deadline: The deadline to request away game tickets is April 30.
  • Priority Point System: If demand exceeds supply, the LSU Priority Point System will be used to determine ticket distribution.

Individual Game Tickets

  • On-Sale Date: Individual game football tickets for select games typically go on sale each summer.
  • Service Fees: All phone and internet orders are subject to applicable service fees.
  • Dynamic Pricing: Individual game prices may change due to demand.

Premium Seating: The Skyline Club

  • Location and Capacity: The Skyline Club is an open-air premium seating area in sections 650-658 of the south end zone of Tiger Stadium, accommodating up to 1,500 fans.
  • Amenities: The ticket cost includes an all-you-can-eat buffet and one free beverage. Beer and wine are available for purchase.

Postseason Games

  • Allocation Priority: Tickets for any postseason games involving LSU will be allocated first to players, coaches, LSU students, and athletic department staff.
  • Fan Accommodation: LSU will make every effort to accommodate as many fans as possible.
  • Ticket Limits: There is no limit on the number of tickets that may be ordered for the SEC Championship Game and each postseason bowl game, but LSU is limited in the number of tickets received for those games.

Student Tickets

  • Eligibility: Only full-time LSU students enrolled at the Baton Rouge campus are eligible to purchase student season tickets.
  • Ineligibility: LSU Law School, LSU Medical School, and LSU Veterinarian School students are not eligible to purchase student tickets through the LSU Athletics Ticket Office.

Important Ticket Information

  • Revocable Licenses: LSU Athletics tickets are revocable licenses, and LSU may revoke tickets for any reason at its discretion. These ticket licenses do not confer any property right to the ticket holder.
  • Ticket Resale: Tickets may not be resold in the immediate vicinity of Tiger Stadium.
  • Official Ticket Marketplace: SeatGeek is the Official Ticket Marketplace of LSU Athletics, ensuring that all tickets bought and sold on the platform are trusted and verified.
  • Gate Access: Check your ticket for proper gate entrances. Patrons sitting in the east upper deck may use gate 9 (the escalator) or enter through the south end zone (gates 23-28) to access the ramp.
