MWCC’s adult education programs are expanding, creating a need for instructors for both the MWCC Adult Education program and the MASSLinks Virtual Academy. These positions prepare adult learners to obtain their high school equivalency and continue on to earn a college education.
Positions include:
- Coordinator of Student Support: Coordinates and delivers services supporting student success for the MassLinks Adult Education Online Academy.
- Humanities Instructor: Designs and delivers instruction exploring the intersection of the Arts, Social Justice, and the Human Experience, designed to build literacy and critical analysis skills necessary for college and career success.
- STEM Instructor: Designs and delivers synchronous and asynchronous remote instruction exploring the connections between critical thinking and problem-solving, mathematics, the sciences (Earth, Life, and Physical), and engineering and technology.
Instructors must possess an understanding of current theories and principles of second language acquisition and the ability to apply this knowledge to promote English language development. They utilize real-life topics and themes to teach the intricacies of the English language to diverse, multicultural students.
