Road to Glory lets players live the life of a student-athlete with their created player and take home the Heisman as they build an unforgettable college football legacy. This mode emphasizes individual player development and career progression. This mode showcases the RPG elements of football the best. In Road to Glory, players create a QB (Quarterback) and modify how much exp you earn as well.

Ultimate Team

Ultimate Team allows players to build their dream team of college football stars and legends. Players can participate in Solo Challenges or Head-to-Head Seasons to upgrade their squad and take on the toughest contests. All CUT player items are non-auctionable and non-tradeable. CUT items also may require logging into the CUT in-game store. Some content may require gameplay to unlock

Road to College Football Playoffs

In Road to College Football Playoffs, players pick a team that is categorized by tiers and play against other players online. There’s even cross-platform play and you’re able to communicate with the opponent with a connected headset/mic.

Presentation and Visuals

Visual Fidelity

Running the game on a Series X, the resolution looks to be 1440p upscaled to 4k. The frame rate when in action is a buttery smooth 60fps but will drop to a locked 30fps in cinematics and transitions. While this may sound jarring, it’s hardly noticeable during gameplay.

As fans of College Football, we know that week-to-week games are happening at all times. Through studio updates, you'll be informed of the latest news from around the country. Long-time ESPN Studio Host, Kevin Connors, will be jumping in from time to time to call out national upsets, scores for games you care about in your conference, or updates on how your rival is doing when in Dynasty mode. These updates will happen whether you are playing in a Dynasty that is offline or online.

Commentary Team

The commentary throughout the matches is provided by either the broadcast team or the big game team, enhancing the immersive experience.

Following the resolution of a lawsuit concerning the use of player name, image, and likeness (NIL) without permission or compensation, EA Sports has worked to include real players in CFB25. All 134 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) programs are featured in the game.

PC Release

Unfortunately, CFB25 is not available on PC at launch, which has disappointed some fans. EA has cited concerns about modding and potential legal risks related to NIL as reasons for this decision.
