Understanding Roncalli High School Tuition and Financial Aid
Roncalli Catholic High School is dedicated to making its faith-based, quality education an option for committed families and students. Understanding the financial aspects of education is crucial for families considering Roncalli. This article provides a detailed breakdown of tuition costs, financial aid opportunities, and payment options available at Roncalli High School.
Tuition Rates and Factors Influencing Cost
The Roncalli Board of Directors establishes tuition rates. Tuition is nonrefundable once a student begins a given quarter. Several factors can influence the overall cost of attending Roncalli, including:
- Parish Affiliation: Pastors of Catholic parishes pay $400 toward tuition, if approved, according to parish guidelines.
- Financial Assistance: Roncalli grants financial assistance based upon the availability of budgeted funds and the level of need from families requesting aid.
- Indiana Choice Scholarship: Any family eligible for the Indiana Choice Scholarship is required to apply for one.
- Book Rental Fee: Book rental fee is $325 for one student, $500 for two students, $625 for three students and $100 for each additional student.

Roncalli works with families, one-on-one, to arrive at a customized individual tuition plan. This personalized approach ensures that each family's unique financial situation is considered when determining the final cost of education.
Financial Aid Opportunities
Roncalli offers a number of scholarships to a variety of students. Financial assistance will again be available. A family must be a supporting member of a Catholic parish as deemed by the pastor or your student must have attended Catholic schools for a minimum of 3 years to be eligible for Roncalli’s financial aid. These criteria are NOT applicable to the Indiana Choice Scholarship.
Applying for Financial Aid
If you wish to apply for financial assistance, the first step in the process is to submit your financial aid application online with FACTS Tuition Management system. This will assist us in making fair and informed decisions when determining your individual tuition plan. Financial assistance applications are completed online through Blackbaud. This third party organization evaluates the financial assistance applications and returns the information to Roncalli. The online application will be available January 1st. YOUR APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETE BY MARCH 15 to be considered for the first distribution of Roncalli assistance.
