Online registration for Homecoming and Family Weekend is at go.rutgers.edu/hcfw25register. The registration fee helps to cover some of the costs for the weekend and includes a special limited edition R Family gift for registered families.

Show Your Pride: Rutgers License Plates

Rutgers alumni can showcase their Scarlet Knight pride on the road with official Rutgers license plates, available in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

New Jersey Rutgers License Plates

Plates can be purchased as standard or personalized plates. The standard plate will have a four-digit number assigned to you. The cost for a standard plate is $100. The personalized plate has up to five characters; the first three must be letters and the last two characters can be letters or a number above 20. The combination of three alpha characters starting with a “D” followed by numbers 1-99 cannot be used*. The personalized plate does not have the “RU” on the right hand side of the plate. The cost for a personalized plate is $150. *Other exclusions apply as well. Each request must be approved by the NJMVC.

Pennsylvania Rutgers License Plates

Rutgers Block R license plates are available in Pennsylvania. The standard plate will have a four-digit number assigned to you. The cost for a standard plate is $90. If you would like to purchase a standard Pennsylvania Rutgers license plate, please fill out sections A and E on the application form. If your car is leased, form ML-1L must be filled out and sent as well. If you would like to purchase a personalized Pennsylvania Rutgers license plate, please fill out sections A, D, and E on the application form. If your car is leased, form ML-1L must be filled out and sent as well. After the checks and application are received, the RUAA will place your order with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Your plates will be sent directly to your home.
