Rutgers University Transcript Request: A Comprehensive Guide
Transcripts are a vital part of your application to the Graduate School-Camden, offering a detailed record of your academic history as a student. They include information such as the courses you have taken, the grades you have received, any honors or awards you have attained, and the degrees you have completed. These transcripts play a critical role in allowing the Graduate School to evaluate your candidacy for admission. This article provides step-by-step instructions to navigate the process of obtaining your academic transcripts from Rutgers University.
Understanding Transcript Requirements
The Graduate School-Camden will initially review your application using unofficial transcripts. Official transcripts will be requested only after you have been admitted. However, it is important to note that the Graduate School Camden reserves the right to require official transcripts at any stage of the admission process.
To process your application to the Graduate School-Camden, it is mandatory to submit transcripts from all institutions you attended, irrespective of credit earned, program completion, or the presence of transfer credits from other transcripts. If you are admitted to a program and accept the admission offer, you will be required to submit official transcripts to the Office of Graduate Admissions.
Please note: To enroll for your second term, it is necessary for us to receive your official transcript(s) beforehand. Your institution(s) should send original, official transcripts, showing your degree awarded, to the Office of Graduate and Undergraduate Admissions.
Who Needs to Request a Transcript?
Transcripts can only be requested by the student who took the courses. If an employer, family member, school, or other individual requires a transcript, the student must be the one to make the request.
