Benefits of the LExS

The LExS provides a tuition fee reduction, with the specific amount varying depending on the Faculty department's budget. As an example, the Leiden University Excellence Scholarship (LExS) 2025 is € 19,000 of the tuition fee. The LExS is awarded for the duration of the study program. If and when awarded a LExS, the level of the award is final and non-negotiable.
