After submitting the entry, entrants can view offers available from colleges and universities advertising on the site and request information from these schools. However, this step is not required to complete the entry.

Scholarship Details

The scholarship is a one-time award of $10,000, which must be used for educational purposes only. Educational expenses include tuition and fees, room and board, books, computers, and school-related supplies. The scholarship monies will be paid directly to the winner upon verification that the winner applied, as well as documentation verifying enrollment in a college or university in the United States.

Drawing and Winner Selection

The next Scholarship drawing will be held on or around July 31st, 2026, and Sponsor will conduct the drawing. If a potential winner cannot be contacted after reasonable effort within two (2) days after the first attempt to contact him/her, this will result in forfeiture of the prize and an alternate entrant will be selected in his/her place at random from among all eligible entries received during the entry time frame.

Winner Requirements

Except where legally prohibited, the potential winner must sign and return, within seven days of being notified, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release, a written testimonial about how they plan to use the money, a photograph, and a W-9 tax form in order to claim the prize.

While the scholarship may be tax-free if the recipient meets all IRS requirements, ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES, AND ANY OTHER COSTS AND EXPENSES, ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF THE PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. A scholarship is tax-free only if you are a candidate for a degree at an eligible education institution, and the money must be used on qualified education expenses.

Qualified Education expenses for purposes of tax-free scholarships, include: Tuition and fees required to enroll at or attend an eligible educational institution; and course-related expenses, such as fees, books, supplies, and equipment that are required for the courses at the eligible educational institution. These items must be required of all students in your course of instruction. Qualified Education Expenses for purposes of tax free scholarships do NOT include the cost of room and board, travel, research, clerical help, or equipment and other expenses that are not required for enrollment in or attendance in an eligible education institution.
