South Florida Fair Scholarship and Education Fund

The South Florida Fair annually awards more than $80,000 in scholarships to worthy South Florida students who have a desire to further their education. The South Florida Fair Scholarship and Education Fund is supported by various fundraising efforts, including an online silent auction conducted during the annual South Florida Fair. 100% of the proceeds go towards the South Florida Fair Scholarship and Education Fund. All donations will be acknowledged with a donation receipt as the Fair is a 501 (c)(3) organization.

South Florida Fair Academic Excellence Scholarship

The South Florida Fair Academic Excellence Scholarship is designed for students who have completed their junior year in high school and reside in the Florida counties of Broward, Hendry, Martin, Okeechobee, or Palm Beach.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must have completed his/her junior year in high school
  • Reside in the Florida counties of Broward, Hendry, Martin, Okeechobee, or Palm Beach.

Application Requirements:

  1. ~200-word essay answering the questions “What are your specific educational plans, career goals, and why? What inspires you to achieve them? On your college or trade school application, what will make you stand out differently from your peers?”
  2. High school transcript
  3. Two (2) letters of recommendation

This scholarship is designated for both full and part-time enrollment statuses and is restricted for use at two-year colleges, four-year colleges, and trade/technical schools. It is available to citizens and permanent residents.

South Florida Fair Scholarship Sponsored by Palm Beach County Farm Bureau & Western Palm Beach County Farm Bureau

This scholarship is tailored for students pursuing a degree in the field of agriculture.
