Stevens Institute of Technology welcomes students from all over the world, recognizing the unique perspectives and talents they bring to the university. While financial aid opportunities for international students may be more limited compared to domestic students, several avenues exist to help make a Stevens education more accessible. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the scholarships, alternative financing options, and other resources available to international students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees at Stevens.

Introduction

International students are an integral part of the Stevens community, enriching the classroom and campus life with their diverse experiences and perspectives. Stevens Institute of Technology is committed to assisting international students throughout the application process and their academic journey. From completing the application and submitting required test scores to exploring financial aid options, Stevens provides the necessary resources to help international students succeed.

Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students

Stevens Institute of Technology offers a range of merit-based scholarships to recognize outstanding academic achievements and potential. International undergraduate students are automatically considered for these scholarships upon admission, with no separate application required for most awards.

Merit Scholarships

Stevens awards several merit scholarships every year to our most outstanding undergraduate students. You are automatically considered for Stevens merit scholarships when you are admitted; no additional application is needed, with a few exceptions listed below. Merit scholarships range between $2,000 and full tuition (scholarships may not exceed the cost of tuition). If you receive a Stevens merit scholarship, it may be renewed every year, for a total of eight full-time undergraduate semesters, as long as you meet all of the renewal requirements.

Specific Named Scholarships

Several prestigious scholarships are offered, each with its own criteria and eligibility requirements:
