General Campus Experience

While campus amenities may differ at each campus, you’ll be able to access Wi-Fi and find a place to study. The student lounge offers just the right place to study. Even if you prefer to do your coursework online, you can come to a campus to meet with faculty, advisors, or your student services coach.

Newport News Campus

At the Newport News campus, you’ll find a team of local advisors to help you choose your program, find cost-saving opportunities, and navigate the admissions process. You may be able to take select courses at this campus. The Newport News campus is easily accessible from I-64 and Highway 17 on Thimble Shoals Boulevard. The Canon and Town Center bus stop is a five-minute walk from campus. Located in the City Center at Oyster Point, it’s minutes away from a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Ample free on-site parking is available, with the closest parking to campus in the Fountain Way parking garage.

Arlington Campus

Strayer University has a campus at 2121 15th St. N. in Arlington, VA. At the Arlington campus, you’ll find a team of local advisors to help you choose your program, find cost-saving opportunities, and navigate the admissions process. You may be able to take select courses at this campus. The campus is close to the Courthouse Metro (on the Orange and Silver Metrorail lines) and several bus stops. Students can park at the Arlington Courthouse and Courthouse Plaza (AMC) lot at a rate of $3 for two hours. It’s located along Clarendon Boulevard and North Uhle Street, a block away from North Courthouse Road, with many dining and coffee options nearby, and close to the AMC Courthouse Plaza 8 theater.
