Navigating Student Tickets and Experiences at Grand Canyon University

Grand Canyon University (GCU), founded in 1949, offers a wide array of opportunities for students to engage with campus life, from athletic events at the Global Credit Union Arena to cultural performances at the Ethington Theatre. This article provides comprehensive information on how students can access tickets, explore the campus, and immerse themselves in the GCU experience. GCU helps students find their purpose and become innovative thinkers, effective communicators and global contributors. As a Christian university, GCU also encourages students to find their purpose in Christ, with an emphasis on applying Christian values and ethics to their studies and the workplace.

Accessing Events at the Global Credit Union Arena

The Global Credit Union Arena, a 7,000-seat multi-use facility in Phoenix, is a major attraction and home to GCU’s men’s and women’s basketball teams. It also hosts other events, such as concerts and world-renowned Christian speakers. Global Credit Union Arena events attract a diverse audience of students and guests.

Ticketing Information

Ticketing for events at the Global Credit Union Arena is managed by Paciolan. The arena's box office retains control over all ticket sales for public ticketed events. To reserve your tickets online, visit the Global Credit Union Arena box office at gcutickets.evenue.net.

Arena Event Requests

Those interested in contracting the use of the Arena are required to complete an Arena Event Request Form. Submission of this form does not guarantee approval of the request. Upon receipt of the completed form, Global Credit Union Arena event management will review the request and determine whether the proposed use is approved. Management reserves the right to deny requests due to space constraints and yearly holds, balancing the space needs of GCU’s athletic department, students, university departments, overall maintenance and community events.

Insurance Requirements

An insurance policy, including general liability, workers’ compensation, and auto coverage, is required for all events. Proof of insurance must be provided no less than 21 days prior to the commencement of the event or by the load-in/set-up day (if prior to the event day). The licensee shall procure and maintain commercial general liability insurance providing coverage on an “occurrence” basis (as opposed to “claims made”) against claims for bodily injury or death and property damage. Such insurance shall provide immediate protection to the limit of not less than $100,000 for each occurrence and $200,000 annual aggregate.
