Alumni Achievements and Recognition

Tiffin University recognizes the achievements of its alumni through the Alumni Achievement Award and the Young Alumni Achievement Award. These awards honor alumni for their leadership, contributions to their profession and community, and dedication to their alma mater. Nominations are vetted and selected by the Alumni Association Board award sub-committee. To be considered for the awards, an individual must first be nominated. Nominations can be offered by anyone except the person being nominated. All nominations must be received in the Office of Alumni Relations by the designated deadline of April 30th at 5:00PM. Tiffin University's athletic program, the Tiffin Dragons, competes in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) and has produced several notable athletes who have gone on to professional careers.

TU men's and women's track and field hosted a successful Tiffin Alumni Open on Saturday at the Heminger Center as the Dragons had multiple event winners at the event that was dominated by the green and gold. One school record was also broken. Morgan Foos won two events, winning the 60 meter dash in 8.22 seconds and claiming the high jump title recording a mark of 1.62 meters (5' 3.75"). Nevaeh Lewis won the 300 meter dash in 39.24 seconds, breaking an 11-year-old school record. Makayla May won the pole vault with a mark of 3.42 meters (11' 2.5") and Alyssa Bay came in second with a mark of 2.97 meters (9' 9"). Alexis Diehl won the shotput with a throw of 11.27 meters (36' 11.75"). Masakala Amuri won the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.01 seconds and Ariel Clark took first place in the 500 meter run with a time of 1:08.46. Connor Tighe finished second in the mile recording a time of 4:35.55. Gabe Douce won the 3000 meter run with a time of 8:39.50. The 4x400 relay team of Aiden Champagne, Brody Devlin, Clark, and Kameron Walker finished first with a time of 3:28.63. William Rahm won the pole vault with a mark of 4.65 meters (15' 3"). Thomas Nelson won the weight throw with a mark of 20.17 meters (66' 2.25").

Tiffin University offers a vibrant campus life with a variety of activities and traditions. The Campus Activities Board brings in exotic animals for the annual Springfest.
