The Troubadour Festival is a celebration of Texas culture, combining the best of country music with mouthwatering barbecue. It offers a unique experience for festival-goers, bringing together top musical acts and award-winning barbecue restaurants. The festival has quickly become a staple event, drawing crowds with its promise of good music, good food, and good times.

A Growing Tradition

Troubadour Festival has established itself as the largest barbecue and country music festival in Texas. The outdoor event creates the ultimate Texas BBQ & Music Experience, all in one day.

From Aggie Park to Bryan

Originally held at Texas A&M's Aggie Park in College Station, the Troubadour Festival has expanded and evolved. In 2023, the festival made its debut at A&M, setting the stage for future events. In 2024, the festival returned to Aggie Park with an all-new lineup of artists. 2026 marked a change, with the festival bringing its unique blend of music and barbecue to Bryan, Texas. The weekend-long event took place across several Bryan venues, with the main show at Midtown Park.

Music Lineup

The Troubadour Festival consistently delivers a stellar lineup of country music artists, showcasing both established stars and emerging talents.

College Station Performances

The 2024 festival at Aggie Park featured performances by Pat Green, William Clark Green, The Red Clay Strays, and the Cameron Sacky Band. These artists brought a mix of traditional and contemporary country sounds to the stage, ensuring a diverse and engaging musical experience.

Barbecue Delights

A crucial element of the Troubadour Festival is the barbecue. The festival features a wide array of award-winning barbecue restaurants from across Texas, offering attendees the chance to sample some of the best smoked meats in the state.

Participating Restaurants

Festivalgoers have the chance to sample Texas barbecue from restaurants like Snow’s BBQ, Black’s Barbecue, and College Station’s 1775 Texas Pit BBQ. Thirty award-winning barbecue restaurants from across Texas participated in the 2026 event, many recognized on Texas Monthly’s Top 50 BBQ Joints list and some having earned Michelin Guide and James Beard Award honors.

Themed Showcases

In 2026, the restaurants were grouped into five themed showcases: Meat Church & Friends, 44 Farms Beef, Hogs Wild, South of the Border, and Wild Card. This thematic approach added another layer of interest and variety to the barbecue sampling experience.
