Ashe Center Lab Visit
No appointment is needed for a Lab visit at The Ashe Center. However, a valid order from an Ashe Center provider is necessary to be seen or to make an appointment. Check in at the Lab/Radiology reception window at the rear of the 1st floor. You do not need to check in on the other iPad kiosks or clinic stations on the 1st floor for a Lab visit. Proceed directly to the Lab at the rear of the building to use the designated Lab check-in kiosk.
Specimen Drop-Off
I need to drop something off at the lab. With the exception of 100 UCLA Medical Plaza, Suite 245, all other draw stations will accept specimens that are being dropped off for processing and testing.
Test Results and Medical Records
Accessing Results
While every test has a specific turnaround time, the lab releases results to CareConnect as soon as they become available. If you have questions about a specific result, the Clinical Lab encourages you to reach out to the ordering physician to determine the latest status of that order. I would like to see if my lab orders are available in CareConnect. I was recently drawn at your location. My provider is unable to view one of my lab results.
Most blood and urine test results will be released for viewing on MyStudentChart within 3 business days of being finalized. Your provider will only contact you if your results are sensitive, clinically significant, or require further testing. If you do not see a particular result or if you have questions, check the Medical Records section of the MyStudentChart. If you do not see your results, you can contact your clinician by sending a secure message using MyStudentChart. For lab results that need to be sent to a non-Ashe Center clinician, you can print your own results from the Medical Records section to give to your provider or submit a request for your Medical Records to be sent directly to your provider.
Requesting Copies
I would like to request a copy of my test results or medical record.
