General Tuition Information
Tuition costs vary by program. For the 2024-25 academic year, the tuition for general education courses is $135 per credit hour. It is important to note that tuition for international students is an additional 30% of the in-state tuition rate.
Cost of Attendance Explained
The Cost of Attendance is an estimate of your educational expenses for each period of enrollment. It establishes average costs for different categories of students (i.e. full time vs. part time, in-state tuition vs. out of state tuition, etc) and is the cornerstone for determining your financial need for “need-based” grants, loans, and work-study.
WSU Tech also provides cost calculators to help students estimate their total out-of-pocket expenses for a given program or course of study. It is important to remember that by using any of the following calculators you acknowledge that the calculators provide an estimate and do not represent a final determination of expenses you will incur at WSU Tech for a certain program or course of study.
Financial Aid and Scholarship Opportunities
Wichita Promise Scholarship
Wichita Promise is a one-semester, last-dollar scholarship that covers tuition and fees for students pursuing select high-demand programs. In addition to financial support, the scholarship includes career coaching, wraparound services, and a guaranteed job interview with an employer partner. Classes begin in August, and students are encouraged to apply now.

Campus Closures and Schedule Updates
It's important to stay informed about campus closures and schedule updates. Here are some past and recurring announcements:

- WSU Tech was closed and classes were canceled Wednesday, Dec. 5 in observance of the National Day of Mourning for President George H.W.
- Weather update: All classes were canceled and college offices were closed Thursday, Feb. 7. For events at the college, contact the event organizer for more information. WSU Tech resumed its normal schedule on Friday, Feb.
- ATTENTION: All WSU Tech locations were closed starting Monday, Nov. 21st through Friday, Nov. 25th for Fall Break. Offices resumed normal business hours Monday, Nov.
- ATTENTION: The college was closed December 22 - January 2 for Winter break.
- NOTICE: Due to weather, WSU Tech campuses were closed on Tuesday. Jan. 16, 2024.
- ATTENTION: All Student Services were closed and the Self Service platform was unavailable on June 30th for necessary updates.
- ATTENTION: All WSU Tech campuses closed at 2pm on Friday, August 12, 2022, to allow for college-wide convocation.
