Claremont McKenna College (CMC) welcomes alumni back to campus for an exciting Alumni Weekend. It is an opportunity to reconnect with classmates, favorite professors, and the college itself. The weekend is filled with events designed to rekindle memories, foster new connections, and celebrate the enduring spirit of the CMC community.

A Weekend of Connection and Celebration

Alumni Weekend is packed full of events and programs you won't want to miss. Spanning several days, the event offers a diverse range of activities, ensuring there's something for everyone. From academic sessions to social gatherings, Alumni Weekend provides a platform for alumni to engage with the college's intellectual life and vibrant community.

Your registration pass unlocks a host of exclusive benefits designed to enhance your Alumni Weekend experience. These perks include:

  • Alumni Club Access: Enjoy exclusive access to the Alumni Club, featuring live music and refreshments at the Milestone Bar.
  • ContinuEd Sessions and Student Spotlights: Engage in lifelong learning with ContinuEd Sessions and discover the talents of current students through Student Spotlights.
  • Receptions: Attend receptions prior to Friday and Saturday dinners, providing opportunities to connect with fellow alumni and faculty.

To make your return to campus as seamless as possible, CMC offers convenient housing options.

On-Campus Residence Hall Accommodations

Immerse yourself in the heart of the action by reserving a room in one of the residence halls. A twin bed, sheets and a blanket, a pillow, shower shoes, and a towel will be provided.

  • Rooms are traditional residence hall style.
  • Bathrooms will be shared.
  • Space is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Every effort will be made to house classmates and requested roommates together.

Hotel Option: DoubleTree by Hilton Claremont

A room block has been secured at the DoubleTree Claremont at a special rate. The reservation link will be provided in your Alumni Weekend registration confirmation. Please note that this room block historically sells out quickly, so early registration and booking are strongly encouraged.

What to Bring (For On-Campus Guests)

To maximize your comfort during your stay, it is recommended to bring toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc.), a hair dryer, a phone charger, a fan, and any personal items that will make your stay more comfortable.

Getting Around

If you’re staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Claremont, a complimentary shuttle will take you to and from campus. The shuttle will run on a scheduled loop between the hotel and Kravis Center all day Friday and Saturday and Sunday morning. The schedule will be posted in your Welcome Book that you will receive upon check in.

There will be limited golf carts and drivers available on Friday and Saturday to assist guests around campus. There is no set schedule for this, so please check in with a staff member for assistance.

Your Five-Year Reunion Weekend is stacked with can’t-miss moments. Drop into faculty and alumni talks that will make you think, grab dinner under the stars, and dance it out at Monte Carlo Night, one of CMC’s most iconic traditions. Rest and relax on Green Beach, grab breakfast at Collins (tater tots, anyone?), and take in the mountain views while strolling through campus.
