You can fire your assistant coaches in this game for the first time, and it has to be done before the bowl games. You can then hire replacements in the ensuing weeks during bowl season. The game recognizes coaching alma maters, potentially opening up opportunities at those schools.

Custom Conferences

Conferences require between four and 20 teams. Custom conferences can be changed every offseason.

Dynasty Mode Shortcomings

Multiplayer Dynasty is still only available for online play. Also, the game doesn’t play fight songs over the menus, just a drumline. And when you’re a few hours into Dynasty or Road to Glory, the drumline can become very annoying.

Road to Glory: A Personalized Journey

Road to Glory (RTG) mode allows players to create a custom player and guide them through their college football career. The mode has been streamlined and expanded, offering a personalized and engaging experience.

Streamlined Experience

The high school stage has been removed, allowing players to immediately jump into their college careers. Players can choose their skill level, from a two-star to a five-star.

Weekly Agenda

Each week, players go through a practice drill, use skill points on the “agenda” and play/sim a game. There are five agenda items each week, and you have to choose where to put your time: academics, team building, recovery, training and socializing.

Dynamic Interactions

Throughout the season, players receive texts from the media, coaches, teammates, classmates, academic advisors, and businesses, creating a dynamic and immersive experience.

Consequences

Choices made throughout the season can have consequences, such as losing Coach Trust points for attending a party or affecting GPA due to academic dishonesty.

Just like in real life, players can transfer every season.

Road to the CFP is an online season-type mode in which you play against gamers at your same skill level.

Ultimate Team
