Understanding Legacy Christian Academy Tuition and Fees
Investing in Legacy Christian Academy (LCA) is more than just supporting academic excellence; it is a commitment to nurturing the Biblical leaders of tomorrow. LCA empowers its students to grow in wisdom, character, and faith while simultaneously pursuing academic excellence. This article provides a comprehensive overview of LCA's tuition structure, payment plans, and associated fees.
Tuition Inclusions and Payment Options
The yearly tuition for students in grades 1st through 12th includes an all-inclusive lunch dining experience provided by Flik Independent School Dining. This program offers a variety of food options, the opportunity for second servings, expedited service, a more sociable dining experience, and balanced, nutritious meals.
Tuition payments typically commence in March or at the time of enrollment and must be paid in full by December 31. LCA offers several payment plans to accommodate different family needs:
- Pay-in-full
- Semi-annual
- Quarterly
- Monthly
- Bi-monthly
These plans are adjusted for students enrolling after March and pro-rated for students enrolling after September 30. All families are required to establish a FACTS account, which involves a yearly non-refundable participation fee. The fee amount varies based on the chosen payment plan.
Additional Fees
In addition to tuition, families should be aware of several other fees:

- Application Fee: A non-refundable family application fee is required.
- Spanish Immersion Registration Fee: All Spanish Immersion students must pay a one-time registration fee of $1000 when the application is submitted.
- Continual Enrollment Fee: A non-refundable Continual Enrollment Fee of $145 is automatically charged to the FACTS account on February 15. Any application received after the deadline will be charged a $100 late fee for each calendar month beyond the deadline.
- Student Program Fees: These are due July 15 and are paid for each student attending LCA. This is a non-refundable fee. For Grade 5, the fee is $356 and includes field trips.
- FACTS Participation Fee: There is a yearly non-refundable FACTS participation fee to be drafted on July 15. The fee is based on the payment plan chosen.
- Other Inclusions: The tuition also includes the insurance premium (including sports riders and school physical exam fee), English as a Second Language courses, and other support services.
For senior students taking Dual Enrollment classes, the textbooks are not included in this cost.
Transportation and Parking
Transportation fees may be added to the FACTS account. Pick-up and drop-off points are centrally located. Fees are based on Zone 1 (0-10 miles), Zone 2 (11+ miles), and the number of students riding per family. A parking decal costs $35, with an additional $5 for every subsequent decal.
Late Payment and Tardy Policies
LCA School Board policy stipulates that all accounts must be kept current, and no account may be in arrears by sixty (60) days or $800. Violation of this policy may result in withdrawal until the account is made current. Academic transcripts and final report cards will be held until an account is paid in full.
Tardy fees are assessed for students who are late. A student who is tardy 5 times will receive a charge of $15. A student who is tardy 10 times to first period will receive a charge of $30. A student who is tardy 15 times to first period will receive a charge of $45 and so on.
Financial Obligations and Non-Discrimination Policy
Families who elect to send their children to LCA enter into a contractual agreement; therefore, they are obligated to pay full tuition for the school year as contracted.

LCA maintains a non-discrimination policy: No person shall be denied enrollment, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefit of, or subject to discrimination in, any LCA program or activity, on the basis of sex, race, color, national origin, or ethnic group.
Doctrinal Statement
As a Christian ministry birthed by Thomas Road Baptist Church with the same Doctrinal Statement, LCA adheres to Biblical teaching regarding homosexual practices and transgender lifestyles.
Legacy Admissions Assessment
The Legacy Admissions Assessment is comprised of the Bracken, WPPSI IV, the WISC V, and the MAP based on your students' age.
