While MVCTC no longer accepts the FAFSA directly for payment of classes, the Student Aid Index (SAI) generated from the FAFSA is essential. Getting the SAI will tell us if the qualifications are met to use the Ohio Talent/Work Ready Grant funds. These grants, along with other state funding opportunities, are disbursed on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is important to be aware that state funding is a limited amount and is subject to availability upon review of your application and FAFSA Student Aid Index. If grant funding is no longer available, the class fee will need to be paid in full. Payment can be conveniently made by VISA, MasterCard, Discover, cash, or check payable to MVCTC Adult Education.

Classes with insufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation. To ensure the viability of a class, rescheduling or postponing may be necessary to establish a minimum number of students. Furthermore, some popular classes tend to reach capacity several weeks prior to their scheduled start date, underscoring the importance of early registration.

Students successfully completing the classes can earn their CNA certification in as little as two weeks from MVCTC Adult Education. A pre-admission requirement for this program includes a physical examination within the last year stating no lifting restrictions and a 2-step TB Skin Test.
