Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher on their undergraduate degree transcripts. The university began offering a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Speech-Language Pathology, and the degree program transitioned to a Master of Science (M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology. An official Nevada State University license plate is on the way! Proceeds from the license plate will directly support Nevada State’s new athletics program and help address food insecurity among students. The license plate will be available to order through the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles Fall of 2025.

New Satellite Campus
NSU is expanding its footprint with a new satellite campus in Downtown North Las Vegas. In partnership with the City of North Las Vegas, Nevada State will be leasing a new three-story, 30,000-square-foot facility as part of the NLV Gateway development at Lake Mead Blvd. and Las Vegas Blvd. North. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2026, with doors opening to students in fall 2027.
Women's Flag Football Team
Nevada State University’s first women’s flag football team took the field at Allegiant Stadium. The student-athletes showcased their talent in a team Black vs. team White scrimmage on one of the biggest stages in sports. The season opener is set for February 2026.
