N.O. Nelson Campus
The historic N.O. Nelson Campus of Lewis and Clark Community College is located in Edwardsville, IL. It is named after N.O. Nelson, the man who originally built the complex as a plumbing fixture manufacturing factory in the late 1800s. Nelson envisioned more than just a successful business. The property was deeded to Lewis and Clark Community College in 1999, and restoration and expansion began in 2002. Today, the refurbished campus hosts L&C classes, including the Process Operations Technology program, and is used by Edwardsville High School. N.O. Nelson also houses the Leclaire Room, a 250-seat event space named for the historic neighborhood.
Scott Bibb Center
The Scott Bibb Center, formerly St. Patrick's School building in Alton, IL, carries the name of Scott Bibb, a defender of integrated public schools in Illinois.
Macoupin County and Tri-County Community Education Centers
The Macoupin County Community Education Center is located in Carlinville, IL. The Tri-County Community Education Center is located in Jerseyville, IL and serves Jersey, Greene and Calhoun counties. These centers serve members of the district who live farther from the larger campuses.
