This innovative approach allows students to specialize in areas that align with their career goals while building a strong foundation in core business principles. The program comprises three micro-credentials:

  1. Strategic Business Management: This micro-credential is awarded to all MBA students and includes courses in ethics, management, finance, accounting, business intelligence and analytics, and economics.
  2. Customizable Specializations: Students can choose two specializations from a core set of MBA courses, tailoring their education to their specific ambitions. The program is 30 credit hours (10 classes). Three additional foundation courses could be waived depending on any undergraduate business classes you may have taken.

Upon successful completion of a micro-credential, students will receive a digital badge from the Lewis University Graduate School of Management. Micro-credentials offer immediate value to current employers and demonstrate mastery of in-demand business skills to potential future employers. Students will also have their micro-credentials posted to their transcript upon completion of their MBA program.

Program Options and Flexibility

  • Online and Hybrid Options: Programs can be completed entirely online, except for Finance and MIS. There are on-ground and hybrid options for some of the other classes in each program.
  • Accelerated Completion: The MBA program can be completed in as little as 12 months (one year).
  • Flexible Scheduling: The program offers eight-week sessions, allowing students to take classes 100% online, on campus, or in a hybrid format. Students usually take one class during each 8-week session. Taking one class each 8-week session will take students 5 semesters to complete. Scheduling can be flexible and students should work with their academic advisor each semester to create the schedule that aligns with each student’s work /life commitments and ensure successful completion.

Admission Requirements and Application Process

  • Rolling Admission: The application deadline for the online MBA programs is rolling.
  • No GRE/GMAT Required: GRE/GMAT scores are not required for admission.
  • No Recommendation Letters Required: There are no recommendation letters required for College of Business master’s degree programs.
  • Rapid Decision: Once a completed admission file has been sent to Committee Review, a decision is made within 24-48 hours.
  • Multiple Start Dates: Accepted students can start their degree program in any of the six, 8-week sessions.
  • Tuition and Costs: Each 30-credit hour program is 10 classes.
