People & Culture Intern
The People & Culture Intern will have exposure to several areas across the department including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, DEI initiatives, engagement, office administration, and more. This role will interact with all teams and colleagues of all levels.
Production Intern
The Production Intern gains hands-on experience supporting video projects from concept to delivery. This role assists with game, practice, studio, and community coverage through camera, lighting, and audio support; helps coordinate shoots, organize footage, and edit using Adobe Creative Suite. The intern will collaborate across departments and contribute to social, broadcast, and in-game content.
In this role, interns will learn how to produce and edit a feature from conception to completion, lead brainstorming meetings, coordinate location and talent, set up equipment and necessary crew, shoot live game action as well as feature content, organize and log footage, edit using the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, et. al.) while adhering to Kraken branding guidelines, and master the final delivery and archiving process for each project.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist production team with day-to-day coverage of games, practices, studio shoots, and community activations through lighting, audio equipment, and/or camera operation
- Organize and log video footage after games, practices, and shoots
- Produce video projects from concept to completion-in collaboration with producers or independently-for social, KHN, or in-game
- Adapt to change with flexibility and a positive attitude
Strength and Conditioning Intern
The Seattle Kraken are accepting applications for an intern strength and conditioning role. Individuals will have a loose curriculum around topics related to strength and conditioning, sport science and reconditioning.

General Requirements and Qualifications
While specific requirements may vary depending on the internship role, some general qualifications are typically expected:
- Educational Background: A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is often required. Applicants should be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in the Sport Science field.
- Technical Skills: For roles involving video production, a working knowledge of Sony cameras and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, et. al.) is beneficial.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and presentation of ideas.
- Organizational Skills: The ability to be extremely organized and detail-oriented, resourceful, a quick learner, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously is highly valued.
- Personal Qualities: A high degree of personal integrity and a commitment to putting the interests of the organization first are important.
- Hockey Knowledge: General hockey knowledge with a desire to learn more is often preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
In accordance with Washington's Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the pay range for internship positions is typically between $21.50-$22.50/hr. Actual base pay will depend on the employee's experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Working Conditions
